Buenos Aires, Dec 3 (NA) – The judicial situation of former President Cristina Kirchner was not overlooked during Wednesday's preparatory session in the Lower House, to the point where the six newly elected national deputies from La Cámpora swore an oath 'for the freedom' of the former head of state.
This was a political decision made by the organization led by Máximo Kirchner, which all legislators who are part of its structure carried out without question, learned the Argentine News Agency.
But they were not the only Kirchnerists who swore for Cristina Kirchner and her 'innocence': others did so as well, such as former provincial senator and Buenos Aires Government Minister Teresa García; deputy and head of the Sitraj union Vanesa Siley, and head of La Bancaria, Sergio Palazzo.
The first to commit her seat to defending the former president's freedom was Teresa García, who was booed by the libertarian faction that filled the galleries of the chamber.
Lucía Cámpora, general secretary of the eponymous group, sat at her desk wearing a t-shirt that read 'Cristina free'.
'For the memory of Néstor and the 30,000 [disappeared], for the freedom of Cristina and the Argentine people. Yes, I swear,' said the former porteño legislator of La Cámpora.
